History of department

           The department of commerce , which is the oldest and largest department of the college, was established in 1983. with intake of 80 students. In addition to the existing course,  The department has been organizing quiz, seminars, Debates and group discussions among the students.

VISION

     To provide the right academic environment paving way for intellectual excellence and social environment.

     The college believes in providing quality education for the socially disadvantaged economically weaker sections of the society.

MISSION

  •    To impart holistic education with special emphasis on character, culture updated knowledge and skill oriented learning.
  •    To make the students enjoy the fruits of globalization without prejudice to their local and cultural environment.
  •    To impart necessary life skills so as to make them face any challenge in the bigger world—social, psychological or professional

      Social responsible Citizen:   College inculcates a sense of civic responsibility, social commitment, and moral accountability among the students through social activities to with  exposure to human rights, value system, culture, heritage, scientific temper and environment. 

      Value-based Development: To impart quality and need based education our objective is to sensitize the students to their changing roles  in the society through awareness raising  activities.

B.Com students write evry day business news in college premise such as Indices of BSE Sensex, NSE Nifty,Gold Rate, Forex rates,Crude oil ,Business opointments ect.

 

Monthly Commerce Magzine

The Department of Commerce is having 3 faculty members and 63 students. Monthly Commerce magazine is being released  with articles in recent news , contributed by the students and faculty members.
