Information Technology plays a crucial role in quality enhancement of academic institutions. Due emphasis has been given to upgrade and establish IT Infrastructure in the Government Degree College Rampachodavaram.

History of the Department
-->The Department of Computer Applications started in the year 2021 
--> In the academic year 2021-2022 i.e B.com Computer Applications course is started
with a strength of 13 students .
--- > A new course B.Com General Hons with Computer applications Minor has started
in the academic year 2023-24
---> Presently B.Com computer applications major has started with an intake of 60
was sanctioned and total 46 students admitted .IN THE YEAR 2024-25
